- 1 cup chickpeas
- 1.5 tablespoons hemp seed oil
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil or tahini – whichever you prefer or have on hand
- 1-2 cloves garlic
- salt to taste
Blend together chickpeas, hemp seed oil, and sesame oil/tahini with a blender or food processor until smooth. You may have to push down the mixture a few times with a spatula in between blending. If the mixture is too thick and not blending well, you can add more hemp seed oil, half a teaspoon at a time, until it reaches the consistency you desire.
Blend in garlic and salt.
Use as a sandwich spread, in a wrap, as a dip for veggies, in a pita, in place of condiments on burgers, etc!
