Superfood Dressing - Serrano Sabroso (LIMITED EDITION)

Serrano Sabroso was made and released in September 2023 in celebration of our local community's rich Latin American culture here in North Central Oregon.  It all started with a trip to Mexico City in May that led to the meeting of our wonderful Mexican pepper farmers back in our home state of Washington. They traveled 2 1/2 hours every Saturday to our local farmers market to talk peppers and spice with contagious passion. I nerded out on pepper and seed structure and heat levels, then spent many hours in the kitchen experimenting with various varieties they gave me. I landed on the "Ring of Fire" variety, which is small but mighty and.... we use the whole pepper except the stem! There is no waste. 

Fresh cilantro and lime juice came next, along with figuring out the perfect balance of oregano, which added some nice depth. 

Just like our other dressings, we include the three amigas of hemp seed -- hemp seed oil, hemp hearts, and hemp protein for a nutrient-dense base and a bit of creaminess, which adds alot to the fresh peppers and herbs. We think you'll really like this one!

The Serrano Sabroso has a tangy kick of fresh serrano peppers from our friends at Guerra Gourmet, pepper farmers in Yakima, WA. We balance that kick with fresh cilantro, fresh lime juice, and hemp hearts for a vibrant fresh dressing that also acts like a sauce. 

Ingredients: Cold-pressed Hemp seed oil, Organic cold-pressed sunflower oil, Serrano Pepper, Cilantro, Lime Juice, Water, Rice Vinegar, garlic, black pepper, Jacobsen Sea Salt, Crushed red pepper, Oregano.
